Interview between an interviewer and a neighbor of the couple:
Interviewer: In a town where nobody goes, there is a house. The house is bigger than any home you’ve seen, but it was destroyed. It was destroyed from what looks like a fire. No one knows when the fire happened, but people know it happened recently. There was a guy living there. He was never seen, but people knew he was in his mid forties, and had a wife. His wife was named Veronica. She was in her thirties and she was one of the most beautiful people you’ve seen. When she was seen, she was decorating her home. She liked to paint, and her husband liked to write. He used to be the talk of the town when he could write. Before the house burned down, he started to not write and we didn’t see anything of him for a while. He was mysterious, and even when people did see him, he seemed as though he was lost, or looking for something. People who did know this man, knew he collected types of stones. They were almost diamonds, but in the shape of a human heart. Unfortunately, I know nothing about the couple other than this. So today, I invited in a friend of theirs who knows a lot about the two. I want to introduce a very special guest. Unfortunately, she only has a short time with us today, but that’s okay. So, thank you for inviting me over to your home to do this interview, Maddie.
Maddie: You’re very welcome.
Interviewer: So, today I’m here to talk about your neighbors! I know you were very close with Veronica, but do you know anything about the husband.
Maddie: I know too much. I don’t even know where to begin. I haven’t been the same since. Poor Veronica.
Interviewer: What happened to Veronica?
Maddie: He did it to her. He killed her. There was so much fire. So many people.
Interviewer: Who killed her? What do you mean?
Maddie: Her husband. I’ve never seen someone so monstrous. I-I know this sounds crazy. But he was insane. He tormented Veronica. This lead her to insanity herself, and it forced her to kill herself. She lit herself on fire, right in front of him. She didn’t even scream. All she did was stand there... and look at him as she burned to death.
Interviewer: That’s.... horrific. What lead her to doing this to herself? And why did he go insane?
Maddie: As you know, he was a writer, and he was struggling to write anything new. And Veronica, she didn’t know how to help. One day, I remember seeing a car drive by my house and then into their drive way. It was an old man. I called Veronica, and she said he was a random man, who just enjoyed her husbands writing. As time went by, more and more people came into the house. The house became a place of worship for the husband.
Interviewer: That’s very strange that people would just show up that their house. Who else came to the house, and how did they worship him?
Maddie: Most knew the man who first came in some way. But then, more and more people came as he began writing new pieces of work. I remember I would see people starting off normally by shaking his hand and asking for autographs. Then it turned into much worse. I could see people with knives and guns and drums and they were singing.
Interviewer: What were they singing and do you think they were hurting each other?
Maddie: They were saying prayers and singing hymnals about Him. He was their God. I saw people shoot each other and rape each other and tournament each other just so that they could see him first. He was the center of attention, and Veronica was loosing her patience with him and she couldn’t bare to see him turn into the selfish man he was becoming.
Interviewer: Do you know where they are now? Today?
Maddie: I do know Veronica ended up killing herself. No one could even bare the thought of her dying, but again those were only her close family members. Everyone else didn’t care because she wasn’t Him.
Interviewer: Who do you think he really is? Is he a good person?
Maddie: I do think he was an okay person before his writing started. But he thought of himself as God, when he really was Satan.
Interviewer: I just wish we know where he went you know?
Maddie: We do too. All we know is that if he ever comes back, he is going to destroy what we have. He did once, and he will again. He didn’t just ruin our neighborhood and relationships, but our emotions. He showed us things we had never seen before, and we don’t ever want to see those again.
Interviewer: Well I could see why! I could see why!! That’s horrible.
Maddie: I just never dreamed to live in fear of him coming back. I don’t know how we are going to be okay. I hope everything gets better.
Interviewer: I hope you are okay and I hope everyone can regain strength from everything he has done.
Maddie: I don’t think we will recover from what he has done, but we will try.
Interviewer: I hope everything goes well. Alright, thank you again Maddie. And we will follow up if we have any news on the where abouts of Him.
